CLASS AA:
1. Hill Murray-
Good week with wins over South St. Paul, North St.Paul, and Moorhead. No reason for them not to be #1.
2. Eden Prairie-
Solid week with a win over Wayzata and a tie against Tonka. Big game against Edina Saturday, should be a great game. They have been pretty consistent lately.
3. Wayzata-
Lost a close one against EP this week, and won a slushy game against Roseau on MN Hockey Day in Moorhead. There not exactly on a hot streak right now, but they have a chance to start one this week against Tonka and Hopkins. If they win those two games, it will set them up with some good momentum going into Sections.
4. Maple Grove-
Been playing very good hockey the last few weeks. Very big wins over Duluth East and Elk River. They play against rival Osseo this week to close out the regular season.
5. Edina-
Close win over Tonka this week, and a workmanlike win over Hopkins. They close out the regular season with a huge game against EP.
6. Duluth East-
Have not been playing very consistent lately, but pounded rival CEC 8-1 at home on Tuesday. Then had a hard fought 2-1 win over Elk River Saturday. Senior goalie Joje Jeanetta seems to be getting back in the groove. Has two more games left in the season against two cupcake teams, Hastings and Tartan.
7. Minnetonka-
Lost to Jefferson and Edina this week, but had an alright game against EP ending in a tie. Big test this week against Wayzata.
8. Benilde-St. Margaret’s-
Bad week with a terrible loss to Spring Lake Park, and a loss to Shattuck. Two games left in the season with Totino-Grace Thursday, and Stillwater Saturday.
9. Grand Rapids-
First team to reach 20 wins this season, but more than half of their games have been played against single A teams this season. This team could do some damage in sections, but I don't see them beating Duluth East this year.
10. Burnsville-
Had a good win over Lakeville North, but got a little bit of a setback with a 2-3 loss from Apple Valley. They close out the season against Jefferson and Kennedy.
